1. Who we are

2. What data we process
This website is a showcase: there are no forms, accounts, online bookings or payments. We only process the technical data recorded automatically while you browse (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) and the information you choose to share when you email or call us.
3. Why and on what basis
- Running and protecting the website: our legitimate interest.
- Replying to your enquiries about stays or events: pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
- Meeting tax and accounting obligations if your enquiry leads to a stay or an event: legal obligation.
Sharing your contact details is optional, but without them we cannot reply.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell or disclose your data, and we do not use it for profiling. It may be processed by Aruba S.p.A., our hosting and email provider with servers in the European Union, appointed as data processor, and by advisers or public authorities where required by law. Google receives some technical data through the map, as described below.
5. The Google map
The Home and Contact pages include a Google map. When you open them, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and information about your browser and device; if you are already signed in to a Google account, Google may associate the visit with your account. We show the map based on our legitimate interest in showing you where we are. Google processes this data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy, including in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The “Google Maps” and “Apple Maps” links open those services, which are subject to their own privacy policies.
6. Cookies
This website does not use cookies for visitors: no analytics, no advertising, and our fonts are hosted on our own server. That is why we do not ask for your consent. Only our staff use technical WordPress cookies when they sign in to the private area.
7. How long we keep it
We keep technical browsing data only as long as strictly necessary for the security of the website, emails for as long as needed to handle your enquiries, and tax records for the periods required by law.
8. Your rights
You can ask us at any time for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing based on our legitimate interest, by writing to info@caposantacroce.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
